The first step towards environmentally friendly driving could be replacing one’s old car with an electric vehicle or a hybrid. There are more companies than you may be imagining that work on electric vehicles and electric vehicle components. Since according to the latest studies and research programs results electric vehicles seem to be the future, you may want to know exactly who makes these vehicles, what their features are, how reliable they’ve been proven to be and how much they cost. All companies that produce electric vehicles have special pages on their websites dedicated to information on these vehicles, their features, what makes them a smart choice and what the benefits they bring are.

Here are some links of websites of companies involved in producing electric vehicles; they lead to the websites of Mini Cooper, Ford, Tesla, Audi, Nissan and so on and so forth. Audi, for instance, manufactures two-seats sport cars that have an entirely electric system. Coda, a California based company, manufactures, designs and sells electric cars; think City is an electric car available in Europe and the U.S., starting 2011 and Ford has a new Ford Focus sedan version which is also electric.
